Production & Online Management – Leading Digital Strategy in a High-Stakes Campaign

In the 2024 Saskatchewan Provincial Election, I had the opportunity to serve as the Production and Online Manager for the Saskatchewan NDP, overseeing the digital and communications strategy during a critical campaign period. Through strategic content creation, online engagement, and targeted messaging, I played a key role in shaping the party’s outreach efforts and ensuring our message resonated with voters across the province.

Key Contributions & Achievements

1. Digital & Social Media Strategy

  • Executed a comprehensive digital media strategy to engage voters across multiple platforms, ensuring consistent messaging aligned with party priorities.

  • Designed custom graphics, and online assets that effectively communicated key policy positions and mobilized supporters.

2. Communications & Content Development

  • Created press releases, talking points, and media statements that reinforced the party’s key messages and addressed emerging issues in real-time.

  • Drafted compelling direct mail campaigns (DMail) communications that reached thousands of voters, driving awareness and action.

3. Get Out the Vote (GOTV) Operations

  • Developed and implemented GOTV scripts for phone banks, door-to-door canvassing, maximizing voter engagement in the final days.

  • Led the creation of QR-coded donation and voter information tools, streamlining access to resources for both supporters and campaign volunteers.

  • Coordinated SMS and email mobilization efforts, leveraging data-driven insights to encourage voter participation.

Results & Impact

  • Optimized campaign communications, ensuring rapid response to media inquiries, crisis communications, and public concerns.

  • Enhanced voter outreach, using targeted messaging to drive higher turnout among core supporters.
